well, here is the first time I write a note, mixed with "bahasa" too, so klo rada bingung bacanya, please dimaapkan ya.. ;p

Note ini kira2 menggambarkan kondisi kantor g skrng dimana so many technology comes in yg lagi di deploy, terutama buat g pribadi, maklum, masih newbie di Infrastructure.. :p n di kantor kaga ada Prof Engineer yg bisa ngajarin g, bingung jg klo ngadepin org vendor, ky org bego aja g..sometimes I have to remember to chill down my mind.. XD

here's the tech : enknya g listing satu2 kli ya :

1.Cisco Catalyst 6509-E Switch, udh termasuk FWSM n IDSM..double supervisor engine..baru bisa sh module doank.. >.<

2.ASA Firewall, tipenya g lupa 5x brp... :p mlongo dah..

3.Aruba Mobile Controller..

4.yg lagi testing WAN Optimizer : Juniper WXC, Citrix NetScalar.. ga tau d jadi bli apa ngga.. -.-"

5.yg blm di deploy.. Win2k8 n Exch2k7..tp udh dibeli sm bos.. >.<

6.EMC, CX brp g ga tau d..ini punya org database sih, tp klo meeting ngajak2 g sgl, mana ngerti b0.. XD

7.HP integrity..bnyk dah, sgde gaban smua, RX brp g juga lupa..

8.etc,smntara itu dulu d..ntar klo ketauan bisa diomelin sm si bos...

The problem is, (I still don't know if is a problem or a gift..), bnyk bangeeet b0 yg bisa g plajarin..-.-" smntara g masih chasing down one more exam buat ngdapetin MCSA 2k3 g, stuck sm IPSec n RRAS, pusing bgt dah..tp msti g abisin akhir bulan ini, Insya Allah..

This all new tech (for me.red) force me to study harder n harder..unstable work environment, unusual user request, pressure from the top really slowing me down..but wtf, yeah..

p.s : doain g ya yg udh baca note ini biar tahun ini bisa dapet MCSA 2k3, n bnyk exam lain yg bisa g ambil juga such as : SNAF (dari ASA nih..), BCMSN (switching..), MCTS (ISA 2k6 n Exch 2k7), ACMA (Aruba..)..bnyk bgt yak, ga tau dah duit dari mana, huehehe..doain jg biar salary thn ini lebih worthed dr dugaan g, moga2 si bos lagi bae hati.. ;p amiiiin...

NewSID v4.10

I'm installing Win2k3 using Virtual PC and because I'm a lazy person, so I just clone(copy to another folder exactly), so I have 2 Server in a sec. ServerA become a DC and ServerB become a member server. After I installed the DC, and ServerB succesfully join the domain, ServerB can't logon. It says : "The name or security ID (SID) of the domain specified is inconsistent..yata..yata.."

So I download a tool from technet, and it works like hell :p And here is the link

A little brief from the site :

Regarding SIDs, Microsoft does not support images that are prepared using NewSID, we only support images that are prepared using SysPrep. Microsoft has not tested NewSID for all deployment cloning options.

now time to instal GPMC ^^

Testing the DNS Server

Windows Server 2003 allows you to verify your DNS server configuration with two tests on the DNS server computer. These two tests are included on the Monitoring tab of the server properties dialog box, available through the DNS console (dnsmgmt.msc).

While you are logged on to DEN-DC1 as Administrator, make sure you are connected to the Internet through the MyISP connection.
In the console tree within the DNS console, right-click DEN-DC1 and select properties. The DEN-DC1 Properties dialog box opens.
Click the Monitoring tab
Select the A Simple Query Against This DNS Server check box and the A Recursive Query To Other DNS Servers check box.
Click Test Now. The Test Results area shows the successful results of the tests you have just performed.
Click OK to close the DEN-DC1 Properties dialog box
Log off DEN-DC1
